J dorama Bitter Blood ; the unsatisfied

First of all, I'm going to say sorry if you are the fan of this dorama, because in this post I'll  write about my unsatisfy feeling :(
Second, sorry for my broken english.

So, after I watch Border with dark and really bitter ending, I tried to find another detective drama. Well I'm still rookie in dorama so I still kind of picky about choosing what I'm going to watch.
Then I find Bitter Blood because of the synopsis and of course the lovely dorky Takeru Sato.

I really like family drama but with suspense, mystery,  tension or something like that.  Well at least like I'm Home(2015)
So I stumbled upon Bitter Blood, which is offering a story about father and son bromance, and in action too! Of course I'll watch it.

So it begin, the story about a dad who once left his own family and end up divorce. And a boy who hate his dad because of that. And incidentally, after years separated, they met and become a partner as detective in Crime Investigation Department.
In the genre they mention comedy.  But I expect at least there would be a lil angst, or tension. Please. But no, Sahara Natsuki as a son just go with the flow. At first he kind of blowing up the past and show how he hate his dad but... it's just go like that. No explanation. No tension or fighting between them. Sahara just like "I hate you but what can I do with this situation."  And Shimano , the father, never trully serious about his son. Well we all know he's caring and lovely and feel sorry for his family, but no, I find him annoying.

I know it's comedy, well but... please.. a drama.. a tension.. or just a flashback about their past. Even in the last episode. I wish they will be tearjerker or something. or emotionally or what. I hope when the last episode it will be more serious and sentimentally, and  I almost cried when Sahara got shot and Shimano pass out. But no, they still trying to make audience laugh in the worst timing. I hope I will get a serious moment, but yeah they just want make us laugh. And I'm not laughing at all. -.-

And for that villain, the Kaizuka. Owh c'mon he's the most annoying villain. He's not scary. Not psycho. No. Just a goddamn freaky seeking revenge. I have to say that it's better if Kaizuka character become more darker and harder to catch and more clever . I mean all of the case in this dorama are ridiculous and easy. And I think it's better if Kaizuka become the boss villain which is serious and trully brutally evil. So it's kind of make the Kageyama Team hit the serious mode at least. But no, that is just my hope and imagination :(

There's a scene where ..hmm I don't know I think they want to make an emotionally scene where Sahara find Shimano's box and the inside of the box is Sahara's childhood photos and articles about his achievements in police departmen. Awwhh it's so cute Shimano senpai, but it didn't reach me. I know they want to tell us the audience that Shimano is a caring and lovely father who cannot forget his child that easily.  And we all know that Sahara know.
But that scene.... nope. It not reach my sentimental mood ngahahaha. I always crying in sentimental scene, even in the most ridiculous dorama like My Boss My Hero, but in Bitter Blood it didn't reach me. I can't sympathy and feel sad because I don't get the explanation why Shimano left Sahara. Maybe if they explain that and we know about their past, that scene would be sooo right in the feels :')

There's questions in my head after watching this dorama. Why Shimano divorce and left his family?  (Well they just say he left because his ex wife fall in love with someone else. But no, I don't take that as answer or explanation). What happen to Sahara's mom? Well at first episode Sahara bring up about he doesn't want to see other people hurt because he grow up watching his mom crying every time.  And in some episode they mention his mom fall in love with another man first, that why Shimano left. But in the end Sahara and his sister living with their grandparents.  Where did his mom go? Is she re married? Because there's episode where Sahara grandpa come to Tokyo to investigate a criminal, and in the same time mention about searching his daughter which is Sahara's mom.
And then what about Shimano family? Is he re married?
And what is the yellow scarf things (?) That Shimano want to give it to Sahara? I thought it's Sahara's birthday present from him, but then he said it's not the time yet for Sahara to receive it, so I thought maybe it has something to do with their past or Sahara's mom. Well in the end the scarf ridiculously fly away because of the wind.
There's a rumours that this dorama will continue because in the end of last episode there's a line "to be continued". Well if there's second season or SP I definitely watch it and hope that they gonna explain to us about Shimano and Sahara past.

Sure,  the  unsatisfying still linger me huhuhu. But well, there's much things that keep me watching this.
First of all of course that cute Takeru Sato. And his reunion with Kutsuna Shiori. And yeah their characters almost identical like their role in  Beck.
Second,  even he's annoying,  chemistry between Shimano senpai and Sahara is build up well.
Third,  the opening!!!! It's sooo catchy and cool.
The last, it is the soundtrack. The music is good and keep the mood and make the drama less boring.
In the end Bitter Blood is a good drama, and if you want some light and funny detective dorama you should watch it. But if you hope you'll find a serious or melodramatic drama about father and son, no, better drop it.
Or you'll feel what I feel... that unsatisfy feeling :(

Here, the cool opening that keep me watching this dorama untill the end ngahahaha
